Volunteer State Bank Announces Appointment of New Branch Leader

PORTLAND, TN. – February 7, 2024 – Volunteer State Bank welcomes Susan Gaimari as vice president, branch manager of its Portland and Orlinda offices. Gaimari brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the Bank and holds exceptional skills in team management, customer relations and community involvement. She holds 39 years of banking experience in Middle Tennessee, 13 of which have been devoted to serving Sumner County.

Gaimari is an accomplished banker, specialized in business development and lending. She recently served as vice president, business development officer and commercial lender at Sumner Bank & Trust. Throughout her successful career, Gaimari has held numerous leadership roles including vice president, business relationship manager for First Horizon Bank and vice president, retail regional manager and district manager at Fifth Third Bank. She has been recognized for her keen ability to build relationships with her team members and customers, earning her top sales and service awards among her peers. Gaimari currently serves as a board member and secretary for the United Way of Sumner County, where she’s served as a volunteer for over 9 years. She is an active member of Hendersonville Rotary Club, Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce and Gallatin Chamber of Commerce. Gaimari is a 2023 alumnus of Leadership Gallatin and holds a degree in paralegal studies from Manchester Community College in Connecticut.
