Volunteer State Bank named Rutherford County's Favorite Bank

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Nov. 10, 2022 – Volunteer State Bank was recently named Rutherford County’s favorite bank through the 28th Annual Ruthies Awards sponsored by the Daily News Journal. The recognition – which was presented October 25 – is especially significant as the bank is relatively new to the market, having served the community for five years.

The Ruthies recognize exemplary businesses in the community each year. Businesses are nominated and voted on by the community. Volunteer State Bank received a similar award as Favorite Bank in the 2022 Best of the Best Sumner County awards program sponsored by the Tennessean.
As Volunteer State Bank celebrates 45 years of service, the bank will commemorate the anniversary and celebrate the two awards in the coming weeks with holiday open houses and community service giving programs.
